Our client is a successful educational institution that offers a diverse range of courses to their students. They are now seeking a HE Lecturer to join the Early Childhood and Health team, on a part-time time variable claims contract from SEPTEMBER 2018. You will be part of a vibrant and innovative thinking team who are dedicated to the Early Childhood and Health professions and strive to be the leaders in the sector for education.
Within a friendly and motivated environment, you will have the chance to play a crucial role in the developments of HE programmes. As a HE Lecturer you will be required teach on the HE study programmes validated by the University of Chichester - specifically the Foundation Degree Early Years and play an active role in supporting key college events for HE.
Main duties will include:
-Teaching duties to include preparing dynamic lessons with stretch and challenge allowing learners to reach their full potential
-Attend appropriate meetings
-To support changes in curriculum related to practice as set by awarding bodies, working closely with the team
- monitoring and tracking progress
- assessment monitoring of learners progress, attendance and outcomes
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
-Vocational experience in the early years sector at a Senior level
-Early Years related Degree
-Teaching qualification: PGCE , Cert ed, QTS , DTLLS or QTLS
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Personable and enthusiastic, excellent communication skills with a passionate approach to your work and with the need to be flexible and can work well under pressure.
