The College & Department

We are a high-achieving college who attract around 3,000 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.

The College has good IT and intranet facilities and the team of IT professionals who support these facilities are an integral part of the college by supporting our students and lecturers by ensuring IT services are of the highest standard.

The Role

Brockenhurst College are looking for an IT Tutor to teach on courses as agreed with the Area Organiser, working closely with them with regards to the recruitment, monitoring and progression of students. You will be paying due attention to individual learning styles, supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities. As part of this role you will contribute to not just the design, delivery and future planning and development of the curriculum but also the teaching / learning resource bank for the relevant subject / course.

Additionally, you will be expected to attend relevant Enrolment / Open Events, and the occasional Saturday classes as appropriate, in consultation with the Area Organisers. You will participate in staff development and training, as well as promoting the sharing of good practice in the development of teaching methods and strategies.
