Brockenhurst College is now looking for an enthusiastic Piano Teacher and Accompanist to join our dedicated team on a part time, claims basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £22.35 - £36.44 Per Hour Depending On Experience.

We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.

About the role:

As the Piano Teacher and Accompanist you will teach one to one piano lessons as well as accompany individuals and groups of various students at college organised by the Head of Curriculum.

You will prepare students for and attend the various concerts throughout the academic year. You will also prepare students for music exams and assessments.

Responsibilities as our Piano Teacher and Accompanist will include:

As our Piano Teacher and Accompanist, you’ll ideally have:

  • Practical experience as a performer/accompanist
  • Relevant teaching experience in piano
  • Excellent teaching skills
  • A record of continuous professional and career development
  • Knowledge and understanding of current developments in piano grades for all awarding bodies
  • Supportive and positive approach to teaching and learning
  • The ability to motivate and support students effectively to ensure their success
