We have an exciting opportunity for a Singing Teacher to join the team on a claims basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24.53 - £41.17 per hour.

We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.

About the role:

As the Singing Teacher, you will teach one-to-one singing lessons with the opportunity to run a singing ensemble at college organized by the Curriculum Lead.

Responsibilities as our Singing Teacher will include:

  • Notify Personnel of any changes in personal details, eg a change of name or address, car registration number, telephone number, next of kin/emergency contact details, etc.

As our Singing Teacher, you’ll ideally have:

  • Practical experience as a performer
  • Relevant teaching experience of singing
  • Record of continuous professional and career development
  • Knowledge and understanding of current developments in singing grades for all awarding bodies
  • Supportive and positive approach to teaching and learning
  • The ability to relate well to learners of all abilities and to assess learner needs
  • Empathy with and strong commitment to helping every student achieve their potential
